Library News

•The Library will close early at 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, for Thanksgiving. We have a Drop Box Slot on the north side of the building, in the alley, for after-hours book returns. Please have a safe holiday!

The Belles & Books Club will be meeting Wednesday, December 13, 2017, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm here in the Community Room of the City Building. The gals read Silver Bells by LuAnne Rice. Bring a lunch to share and join the food, fun, and fellowship!

• Come see the OKC Zoo program ‘Gotta Go!’ A great family program! Friday December 22 at 10:00am in the Fairview Community Center.  And a ‘Special Guest’ just might make an appearance!

• Check out our Facebook page here !

• Our wifi is free, and available to the public 24/7. You  must be on or near the library grounds to use it, though. It is called ‘Free Library Wifi’ and there is no password to use it.

• Make sure you have a good book – or three – to curl up with on a rainy afternoon!

She is survived by a daughter Mrs. M. Lee Phillips of Fairview; a grandson Dr. Don M. Phillips of Tulsa; two great-grandchildren; four sisters Mrs. J. R. Wicks of Guthrie, Mrs. C. G. Wells of Sand Springs, Miss Maude Purviance and Mrs. Pearl Miller both of Oklahoma City; three brothers William H. Purviance of Downey, California, Raymond Purviance of Guthrie, and Harold Purviance of Amarillo, Texas.
