Funeral services were held at the Bible Baptist Church in Enid on February 27, 1978, with the Reverend T. A. Chich officiating.

Eva Ardell Abram was born in Meridian, Mississippi, on December 19, 1890; parents unknown.

She married W. R. Abram in Sweeney, Texas, on July 12, 1914.

She is survived by her husband William of Enid; three sons Elvin and William Abram of Wichita, Kansas, and Dwayne Abram of Bentonville, Arkansas; two daughters Mrs. Robert (La Vada) Malone of Ames and Mrs. Raymond (Genevieve) Crow of Enid; four brothers Marshall Pogue of Broken Arrow, Ancil Pogue of Oklahoma City, Cass Pogue of Sweeney, Texas, and Virgil Pogue of Enid; three sisters Mrs. John Carter of Anardarko, Mrs. June Dabney of Washita, and Earlene White, of Sacramento, California; sixteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
